| This may be the ultimate noob question, but I cannot figure out how to get out of the room at the very beginning without using chronos and teleporting. I've even looked at a gameplay video of the start, and the player seemed to be able to move diagonally between two earthen blocks. I'm using the java applet at the moment, and the arrow keys for movement. What am I missing? Or is this a glitch? |

| Seems what I needed was a computer with a number pad... That might make things difficult. |

Nope, diagonal movement is what you want. If you don't have a numeric keypad, check out the Configuration Options menu item from the title screen. From there you can switch to an alternate keyboard configuration which lets you use yubn keys for movement (and changes up some other keys too.)
